Who We Are
Soteria Meaning: The Greek word "soteria" (σωτηρία) translates to "salvation" in English. It derives from the root word "soter" (σωτήρ), meaning "savior" or "deliverer." In a broader sense, "soteria" encompasses concepts of deliverance, preservation, and safety, often referring to spiritual salvation, where it signifies the deliverance from sin and its consequences, leading to eternal life with Jesus. In addition to its spiritual implications, "soteria" can also refer to physical safety or rescue in various contexts.
Vision: To take God’s goodness, true nature, and Gospel as far and as deep as possible all over Japan.
Mission Statement: To reach and disciple as many people as possible with the word of God so they can experience a relationship with Jesus and help spread the Good News throughout Japan.
